Blazusiak Set to Defend EnduroCross Title
Irvine, CA – Taddy Blazusiak, the three time defending GEICO AMA EnduroCross Champion is preparing for another title defense as the series kicks off in Las Vegas on Friday, May 4th. During the “off season” from the U.S. series, Blazusiak went back to Europe and won the SuperEnduro championship, which is the European version of EnduroCross. He then spent several months training and testing in his home base in Spain and seems as ready as ever to fight for a fourth consecutive championship. To celebrate the start of another season, Blazusiak will drop his traditional number 111 and run the number 1 on his Factory Red Bull KTM. He will also pay thanks to GEICO, the series title sponsor and run their logo on his jersey for the opening round.
“GEICO has backed the EnduroCross series for several years and helped build it into a great championship that allows us to showcase our talent in front of amazing crowds” Blazusiak stated. “So even though I am not a GEICO team rider, I want to thank them for their commitment to EnduroCross by running their logo”.
The opening round inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas takes place during the same weekend as the Monster Energy Supercross finals. Then on Sunday, the ninth annual GEICO MiniMotoSX fueled by Monster Energy will also take place inside the Orleans Arena. So this will be a great weekend for motorcycle racing fans to make a trip to Las Vegas. For more information, go to www.EnduroCross.com.
