Durham, Baggett and Tickle Looking to Bring the Heat in Toronto
Durham got to have a little fun this past week, as he headed for the hills in Southern California with a group of moto enthusiasts, including Jeremy McGrath and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg. The session allowed him to clear his mind a bit and now he’s feeling good and prepped for Toronto.
“I’m looking to keep building on my results,” says Durham. “I’m trying hard to get a win this weekend. I got to have some fun in the hills with MC and Twitch on Monday, so I’m feeling loose and ready for Canada!”
Tickle was also in attendance on Monday for the free-riding session. He has been consistent, posting top-10 finishes in the Supercross Class the past two weeks, but he’s looking to move up closer to the podium. He’s hoping Monday’s fun will re-invigorate his drive, and hopes to get a top-five finish in the city that gave him his first-career Supercross podium.
“I also got to ride with Twitch and MC on Monday,” says Tickle. “The ride lightened everything up by going out and just having fun. I got my work done Tuesday and Wednesday, and I’m feeling good. I (hope to) come home with a top five this weekend. Toronto is where I earned my first podium.”
Baggett finished just off the podium in fourth last Saturday at Indianapolis, and is looking to get back on the box in Toronto. He’s changed a few things around, and is hoping to bring the heat in Canada.
“I’ve switched up a few things this week to try and get some fire back into my weekends,” says Baggett. “I just need to race like myself. That would be a key role in my weekend. I need to have some fight in my racing.”
