  • H&H St. Louis Recap
Carlsbad, CA - The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis played host to a sold out crowd Saturday night for Round 9 of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross series.  Team riders Josh Hansen and Kyle Partridge were on hand for a night of action on board their Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki’s.

Josh Hansen (#100) started out strong again this week, placing seventh in Heat 2; unfortunately, Hansen’s bike experienced technical difficulties in the Main Event.   “It was a bummer tonight on the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki.  I was riding in sixth or seventh place around the second or third lap and stalled my bike.  It took me a second to get it started and I lost a ton of ground and couldn’t recover.  This is not the way I wanted to finish tonight,” said Hansen who finished the night in 20th position.

Kyle Partridge (#83) had a horrific crash in practice, hitting the outside of the over/under bridge, and was not able to race in the Heats.  Partridge suffered fractures to his C3 and C4 vertebrae, a broken foot, and severe foot laceration.  On Sunday he underwent surgery to stabilize the vertebrae in his neck, and has full motion and movement in all his limbs. Please keep Kyle in your thoughts during his recovery process.

After nine (9) rounds of Supercross action, Hansen sits in 11th place in the overall standings, with Partridge in 17th.

The next AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series race will be held this Saturday, March 10th at the Daytona Motor Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
