MXTalkRadio Announces Sponsorship of Tommy Hahn
MXTalkRadio and Tommy Hahn are pleased to announce their new partnership in the hyper-competitive world of professional Supercross and Motocross racing.
"This is our first time getting involved with the sport at this level" commented Steve Flanders, one of MXTalkRadio's hosts. "We are really just two guys that can't get enough moto, which is why we started doing our radio show in the first place, but this allows us to immerse ourselves even more and help a guy like Tommy who certainly deserves it." Steve went on to say "We actually made the deal with Tommy at the Phoenix Supercross in January and had planned to announce it on our show that following Tuesday evening, but then Tommy got busted up in the main event so we decided to wait to make the announcement until he was done with surgery and feeling better".
The current agreement will provide support to Tommy's Supercross effort through the final round in Las Vegas on May 5th, as well as the opening rounds of 2012 AMA Motocross. "Our deal with Tommy right now will comfortably take us into the first rounds of the 2012 Motocross Series, and our goal is to be able to continue our support all the way through 2012", said Jamie Foreman, MXTalkRadio's second host, "but we're still working out those details"
During an interview Tuesday night on MXTalkRadio, Hahn said "when we talked at Phoenix, it was just a good feeling knowing that someone wanted to help." Hahn also mentioned he had just gotten the doctors okay to get off his crutches and can likely return to racing in 4-6 weeks. However, he wants to wait until he feels 100% before he comes back.
