ODI SX Team Line-Up
Joining the ODI family of riders for 2012 are two new premier teams. As a new team to the circuit, L and MC Racing has enlisted rider Andrew Short to pilot their Honda machines. The bike that Andrew will ride is a factory Honda, with only a few different parts, including ODI grips. After testing ODI, Andrew was impressed with the quality and the performance.
“I really like these grips,” Andrew said. “And that’s saying a lot because I’m really particular about my grips”. Andrew will be a key player in the advancement and development of the ODI product line who has always shown a large amount of support for athletes in both bicycling and motocross.
Additionally, after working with Allan Brown during the 2011 season while he was at Star Racing, ODI will be the exclusive grips used by Team Motosport.com / TiLube / Foremost Ins. Team Motosport.com has recently signed riders Nick Wey and Chris Blose for 2012.
“We are really excited about the 2012 season heading into A1,” Powersports Brand Manager Kevin Stevens said. “Adding riders like Short and Wey to our team just goes to show you that our products can be put the test at the highest level of our sports and pass with flying colors. We’re glad to have Chris back on ODI and our odds for some podiums this year are looking great with these riders in both classes.”

About ODI:
ODI dates back to the 1980’s as one of the leaders in grip manufacturing. Focusing primarily on the bmx and mountain bike industries through the 90’s and early 2000’s ODI re-entered the motocross scene when they developed the patented lock-on grip system that eliminates wire and glue. Continuing to advance the way riders hold on to their bikes, ODI has worked closely with the teams they support such as Troy Lee Designs to create the product that is now being used by some of the top teams in the industry.
