  • Dragon Racing Fuels Madison AX Race Report
Madison, WI – Going into the 3rd round of the Arenacross series, Team Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports KTM wanted to get back to winning after a hard fought stop in Baltimore. Leading the way was #749 Michael Willard and #91 Dalton Carlson.

Friday night set the standard for the team when the gate dropped for the Main Event. Dalton Carlson got the Holeshot with teammate Michael Willard on his rear wheel. By the end of the first lap Willard got around Carlson and he never looked back. When the checkered flew, Willard and Carlson were one and two giving Team Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports KTM their first 1-2 finish.

Saturday night was a new day and that means a new race was in front of the Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports KTM team. This night the team would rely on Michael Willard to bring home the win as the rookies Carlson and Buller struggled to be in the mix.

When the Main Event gate dropped on Saturday Night, Willard had a new battle on his hands when Willy Browning brought his A-game to the Main Event. Browning took the Holeshot with Willard in tow and the battle was set. Willard fought hard to pass Browning but it was not his night. As the two battled over the finish line, Willard came up short and finished 2nd. Another night on the box for Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports KTM and heading into the break with Willard in second for the Lites series points chase.

Overall, a great weekend in Madison… finishing 1-2 on Friday and 2nd on Saturday keeps the team in the chase.
