Chad Reed to Compete in Genoa SX

FARMINGDALE, NJ –– Bel-Ray Company, Inc. – the leading USA-based lubrication manufacturing company is pleased to announce Two Two Motorsports / Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed will be competing in this weekend’s Superbowl of Supercross held in Genoa, Italy on Saturday November 19th.
The event will serve as a real world testing experience as Reed prepares for the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross series beginning in Anaheim, California on Saturday, January 7th.
The 2011 Supercross season saw Reed win 2 main events on his way to second overall in the series aboard his Bel-Ray backed privateer Honda. He looks to improve on his 2011 results this upcoming season and this off season event will allow him to determine his fitness and speed in advance of the American series. Reed’s team in Europe includes Lead Mechanic Lars Lindstrom and the newly appointed Technical Director Mike Gosselaar. Together they will be sure his bike is at 100% and return from Italy with a racing performance baseline that they can build upon in the time leading up to the season opener.
The Genoa Supercross will be held at Genoa Palasport Fiera on Saturday November 19, 2011 (Sunday 20 Nov AEST).
The team will be using the complete line of performance lubricants including the popular Friction Modified Thumper Racing Oil, Blue Tac Chain Lube and 6 in 1 Multi Purpose Lubricants during the 2012 season in all of their racing and test bikes.
