Reminder: Freestone Highlight Show Tonight
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The challenging conditions at last Saturday's Rockstar Energy Freestone National presented riders with a true test of physical endurance and mental toughness. The second round of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship was a showdown between the fastest riders in the sport. Fans can relive all the action tonight on FUEL TV with a one-hour highlight show, airing at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
After a pair of grueling motos in both the 250 and 450 classes, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Tyla Rattray and TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing's Chad Reed stood above the rest as the overall winners. Rattray fended off a challenge from his teammate Dean Wilson, while Reed took advantage of late-race heartbreak experienced by defending champion Ryan Dungey to stay undefeated in 2011.
The battles at the front of the field, in addition to the bar-banging excitement throughout each class will be broken down and analyzed, moto-by-moto. FUEL TV will also set the stage for Round 3 of the championship, scheduled to take place next weekend with the Rockstar Energy High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pa., on Saturday, June 11.
