Official Fantasy Game of Lucas Oil Motocross Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- In celebration of the 40th anniversary of American Motocross, MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, are pleased to present the "Official Fantasy Game" of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, hosted exclusively by the Fantasy Action Sports League (FASL). For the first time ever, fans will have the chance to win $5,000 in cash and prizes.

With the season-opening round of the 2011 season just a week-and-a-half away, the brand new fantasy game will allow fans to manage their own team of riders just like a real motocross team manager. Players are given a $120 million salary cap, with which they will select up to eight riders to fill the roster. Riders are given rankings and corresponding salary values that will fluctuate throughout the season based on their performances. Users can cut, drop or trade riders as often as they'd like throughout the summer, but they must always stay within the allotted $120 million budget.

FASL introduced an unbranded league for motocross last season, subsequently receiving a strong response, boasting 5,000 entries with little to no promotion. For 2011, FASL is offering both free and pay-to-play leagues. However, in order to be eligible for a chance at the $5,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, one must register and select to either pay-per-race or pay a one-time fee for the entire season.
