ARMA Energy Has Solid Showing at Daytona
March 8, 2011, 4:10pm
ARMA Energy had another solid showing at the legendary Daytona Supercross this weekend at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Malcolm Stewart (ARMA Energy/Suzuki City), Ivan Tedesco (ARMA Energy/Hart & Huntington) and Chris Blose (ARMA Energy/Hart & Huntington) rode strong and fought their ways through an extremely challenging race. Stewart finished 7th in the Lites Main while Tedesco finished 11th and Blose finished 19th in the Supercross Main.
Only three races into his rookie Supercross season, Stewart has had a great start to his professional career. In Daytona he came out fast and finished with a 6th place in the first Lites heat race. In the main, Stewart had a great start but then a crash took him down. He got up and quickly fought it out with the pack, and came back to finish in 7th place. Stewart is currently sitting in 8th place overall in Lites series points.
ARMA Energy/Hart & Huntington’s Tedesco and Blose also rode well in their heat races. Both racers qualified for the main with Tedesco finishing 4th and Blose finishing 5th. In what was a challenging race, Tedesco and Blose ended up 11th and 19th for the night. Tedesco and Blose are now sitting 11th and 15th overall in the series.
“ARMA is excited to be with Malcolm Stewart on this great rookie season and to have Tedesco and Blose riding hard every week. Between Suzuki City and Hart & Huntington teams we have some solid racers out there representing ARMA”, said ARMA spokesman Scott “Hollywood” Sepkovic.
ARMA Energy racers are now preparing for round 10 and the Daytona Supercross March 12th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
