AmPro Yamaha Announces 2011 Factory Race Team Line Up
Deep in the woods of South Carolina a race team is preparing for another championship season. Led by six-time National Enduro Champion and AMA Hall of Fame member Randy Hawkins, team AmPro Yamaha has become a staple in off-road racing. Some of the greatest names in off-road racing have raced under the big blue canopy of the factory semi, and this year the team is as impressive as ever!
The 2011 AmPro Race Team is a strong mixture of young talent and veteran experience. The individuals chosen represent the core values this race team has stood by for many years. Without further ado, we are proud to introduce the 2011 AmPro Race Team:
Paul Whibley – Pahiatua, New Zealand (2010-2009 OMA Champion, 2009 GNCC XC1 Champion)
Thad Duvall – Williamstown, West Virginia (2008 GNCC XC2 Champion)
Jordan Ashburn – Cookeville, Tennessee (2010 - 2009 GNCC Open A Champion and Overall Amateur)
Jordan Milbauer – Argyle, TX (2010 OMA Women’s Champion, 2010 TCCRA Women’s Champion)
“This is going to be an exciting year for us.” says AmPro’s owner Randy Hawkins. “We are excited to have Paul and Thad pushing hard on the new Yamaha YZ450F’s and a big thanks goes to Keith Obermyer and Obermyer Yamaha for supporting Jordan Ashburn who is gunning for that XC2 Championship. Jordan Milbauer is also a great new addition to the team and we are thrilled to have her racing for us!”
