DVD RELEASE: “Mini Warriors 5: Generations”

Mini Warriors 5: Generations was filmed at many of the key hotspots of youth amateur competition including the NMA World Mini Grand Prix in Mesquite, Nevada; Lake Whitney MX & Oak Hill MX, Texas; Pala Raceway, California; AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee; Grange and Buttonwillow Raceway, California; and the mountains near Big Bear, California.
 

The Mini Warriors franchise began in 1998, resulting in the Mini Warriors 1-4 movies which featured a slew of young competitive action sports athletes, many who became icons in their respective sports. Some of these riders included Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Sheckler, Shawn White, Trey Canard, Josh Hill, Davi Millsaps, Sarah Whitmore, and Eli Tomac.
 

So many of these stars were captured as they were coming up through the ranks that the Mini Warriors series established itself as a sort of rite of passage on the way to the big show.
 

Throughout the 2010 season, producer Docy Andrews and her crew have captured amazing footage of some of today's new crop of young riders, documenting along the way their journey and interaction with their families and those legends & mentors who are helping them make their way to the next level.
 

While many Mini Warriors are motocross racers, there are other corners of this world to look into as well. Youth roadracing, and freestyle MX are also viable places for today's young competitors to shine, and their stories are included in Mini Warriors 5 / "Generations".
