Timmy Ferry was on the first ever DMXS Radio show some ten years ago and we are honored to have him back on tonight after he announced his retirement from professional racing last week. We could not be more proud of Red Dog and how he handled himself both on and off the track throughout his stellar career. We’ll find out what’s next for the unemployed pale Floridian and take a walk down memory lane with our good friend tonight.
GEICO Powersports Honda’s Justin Barcia is in his second outdoor season and after a slow start seems to be finding his groove after another inspired ride at Red Bud. It’s no secret that we’ve been a fan of this kid for many years and always enjoy having him on the show.
Pulp MX’s Steve Matthes is everywhere these days covering the sport he’s loved and lived since his own early racing career north of the border. Steve has been a great friend and ambassador for Timmy Ferry and has arguably done more lately for Red Dog than he ever did wrenching for him. We’ll of course have Matthes read a few of his sonnets and poems he’s written for Timmy and catch up on the rest of the news, gossip, and bench racing through the first half of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. You can also hear Matthes and Kenny Watson’s entertaining take on the sport each Monday night at www.pulpmx.com starting at 6PST/9EST.
Motoendurance.net’s Robb Beams has become our resident health and fitness guru and the hundreds of questions from our chat room have yet to stump him. Robb will again be taking questions tonight and we’ll have a special segment on preparing for the heat and unique challenge that Loretta Lynn’s offers. You can find out more at www.motoendurance.net about the programs and information offered.
