Florida Winter Am Series Begins in January

With the heat of summer no where to be found and the chill of winter present all over the nation, motocross racers are in need of a legit series to race before the next year of racing begins! Mini O's have come and gone, that means it's time for the Florida Winter Am Series.
In the history books legends like Bob Hannah, David Bailey, Damon Bradshaw and others have participated in the annual winter series since 1970, and 2010 will put another notch on the belt noting the 39th year of the series. With snow covering half the nation and a winter freeze that is too cold to bare, racers from all over the country travel to the southeast state to train and keep up the race pace to follow the prestigious series, even Mike Alessi is rumored to attend the all six rounds!
The first round has officially been announced to take place at Mini O's home track of Gatorback Cycle Park on January 2, 2010. Dunlop, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha have stepped up to offer contingency programs that will benefit the top racers. So pack your bags and head east, the Florida Winter Am Series is just around the corner.
