HOUSTON – Shea Racing will enter Anaheim’s Angel Stadium on January 9, building on a successful 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season in the East Region, with new title sponsor MXdesignz.com. The new edgy, graffiti art-inspired clothing line has stepped in to support an expanded pro racing program.
Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing will compete in both the entire 17-round 450 Supercross Class and the eight-round East Region Lites Class. Rider contracts are being finalized and will be announced very soon. During the 2009 season, Shea Racing qualified for nearly every East Region Lites Supercross main event and earned three top 15 finishes with rider Teddy Parks. It also participated in a charity ride day with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Houston.
“Thanks to the new MXdesignz.com clothing line and our other partners and sponsors, we have been able to expand the team in 2010,” said team owner Tim Shea. “Since the end of the Supercross season we’ve been working on this new program.
