Yamaha Announces Marketing Partnership with DC

Cypress California - Yamaha Motor Corporation is pleased to announce today an exciting new partnership with the iconic skateboarding and action sports brand, DC.
This bold new partnership will see Yamaha support DC’s new motocross training facility “MotoTF”, at Pala Raceway in Southern California with new YZ and TT-R Motocross and off road machines including the ground breaking new 2010 YZ450F. Additionally, this coming Spring, DC and Yamaha will partner with a variety of cross promotional programs at many of DC’s key action sports retailers around the country including a contest to win custom DC branded TT-R125 Off-Road Motorcycles.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this new partnership with DC”, said Bob Starr, General Manager of Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group, “as we firmly believe that Yamaha and DC customers share a common passion for action sports.”
“Our first call was to Yamaha.” Said Brian Cassaro, Action Sports Marketing Director for DC Shoes, “As they have the strong brand image and presence in the marketplace that we know will add to our promotional opportunities in the year ahead. They responded immediately and we’re convinced this will be an outstanding partnership.”
The DC MotoTF launch event at Pala Raceway kicks off today at 12 noon and will feature the new Yamaha YZ and TT-R motocross and off road machines.
