The Akrapovic Evolution complete exhaust system is the championship-winning flagship of our product lines. It is designed for competition-oriented MX riders who demand maximum performance from their exhaust systems.  The titanium used by Akrapovic is not only extremely durable and high grade, it is also a patented proprietary alloy of Ti specifically formulated by Akrapovic for the sole purpose of making exhaust systems. 

This specially formulated alloy of Ti allows us to use such advanced production techniques as Hydro-forming to optimize exhaust gas flow.  With their production quality, engine performance improvements, weight reduction and modern Hexagonal muffler design, Akrapovic Evolutions systems satisfy numerous factory race teams at the highest level.

The systems designed for the USA are available with an approved spark arrester.  Our patented additional chamber helps to reduce noise emission and provides better power and torque delivery.  Every Evolution system is built completely with titanium tubes and is offered in a carbon-fiber or titanium sleeved muffler each with a carbon-fiber end cap.

The Akrapovic Evolution system delivers a performance increase throughout the bottom and top rpm range. The system delivers increased torque through entire power curve, which is what will additionally help to reducing lap times on the track. Max increased power of 2.5 HP  was measured at 10000 rpm, while max power of 53.6 HP was measured at 9300 rpm.  The Evolutions system for the 2010 Yamaha YZ 450 F offers a 1.08 lbs weight savings
