Fifth Annual Monster Energy Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament Two Days Away

Scottsdale, AZ – Less than two days away from the Fifth Annual Monster Energy Road 2 Recovery Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament presented by M Resort Spa and Casino, hosted by Jimmy Button, and emceed by celebrity tournament director Matt Savage.  This year’s exciting event will take place on Thursday, Oct 8, 5:00 p.m. inside the M Resort Spa & Casino Poker Room. First prize is a $10,000 2010 World Series of Poker seat.  The original prize of a $10,000 Sports Legends Challenge Poker Tournament seat has been changed to the World Series of Poker seat due to the cancellation of the Sports Legends Challenge Poker Tournament.  Spectators are welcome. Fans and participants will take home more than 100 prizes and giveaways.

The tournament is open to the public. Participants will compete against Supercross and poker celebrities.

Confirmed poker pros include Andy Bloch, Chad Brown, David Daneshgar, Dan Fleyshman, Jennifer Harman, Kenna James, Chip Jett, Karina Jett, Allen Kessler, Doug Lee, Jeff Madsen, Merri Perry, Marco Traniello, and Marsha Waggoner.

Great prizes have been donated from DC Shoes, DVS Shoes, Lifebelt - because the life you save my just be your own. , Monster Energy, Rockwell Watches, Skull Candy, Ultimate Bet, and WSOP Academy.

The donation to enter the tournament is $200, with $100 re-buys available during the first four levels. Players may also purchase a $100 add-on for double the starting stack at the end of the re-buy period.

Pre-register for the charity poker tournament by visiting www.road2recovery.com/secure/registration_poker.asp.  Players may also register for the tournament and side activities in the M Resort Spa and Casino poker room on the day of the event. M Resort Spa and Casino will secure all tournament donations on the day of the event with proceeds benefiting the Road 2 Recovery Injured Riders Fund.
