Kevin Windham to Race the 250 Class

It didn't take Kevin Windham long to shake up the pits in his return to the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship this weekend at Unadilla in New Berlin, New York. Windham, who sat out most of the summer, has pre-entered for Saturday's race on a CRF250, backed by GEICO Powersports, Factory Connection, Muscle Milk and more.
Windham, who actually won here in 1997 on a YZ125 against Ricky Carmichael, has not ridden what used to be called the 125 class since that year, but he decided to join the kids this weekend in his return to outdoor motocross.
Steve Cox will be posting an interviewing with the veteran shortly. In the meantime, don't forget that you can watch both opening motos -- the 250 class and the 450 class -- from Unadilla's "retro weekend" beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, over on www.allisports.com.
