KTM Race Report from Loretta Lynn's
Sean Cantrell brought home a championship on his orange race machine in the 65cc (7-9) Stock class. Cantrell placed 3rd in his first moto and won the final two to earn the title. Michael Mosiman and Justin Dunn also had great finishes in the 65cc (7-9) Stock class to earn 2nd and 3rd overall respectively.
Kade Walker from Rawdon, Quebec took the overall in the 65cc (7-11) Modified class with 1-2-6 overall results. Walker also put in an impressive ride in the 65cc (10-11) Stock class to earn 2nd overall. Finishing behind Walker in the modified class was Cantrell and the 3rd place ride of Jake Pinhancos. Tommy Maxey was the 3rd place recipient in the 65cc (10-11) Stock class.
Alexander Frye has definitely been making a name for himself this past year putting in fast lap times on his KTM 85 SX. Frye placed 1st in two motos and 2nd in another to earn his first Loretta Lynn’s 85cc (9-11) Modified Championship. KTM rider Serratia Gonzalez ran up front in the Girls (11-15) class with 2-3-5 results to take 3rd overall.
KTM Factory Junior Team rider Jason Anderson took 3rd overall in the 250 A/Pro Sport class in strong overall finishes despite some mechanical problems that plagued him throughout the event.
Overall it was a strong week for KTM riders who have worked hard all year long to finish on top of the podium at the Loretta Lynn’s event.
