Matt Goerke Makes Yamaha Debut at Unadilla

Cypress, CA – Yamaha Motor Corp. is proud to announce the recent signing of Matt Goerke to fill in for the injured Josh Hill under the Factory Yamaha tent starting at the Unadilla National on August 15, 2009. Goerke will race a Factory YZ450F at the Unadilla and Budds Creek rounds of the AMA Outdoor National series, with the possibility of finishing out the 2009 AMA Outdoor season.

“The timing couldn’t have been better for this to happen. Because of the break I’ve had plenty of time to test and get comfortable on the bike and I have to say it is awesome. I can’t wait to see what I can do at the races”, said an obviously excited Matt Goerke.

“Matt has shown that he has the speed to run near the front of the pack in the 450 class and we’re looking forward to working with him at these next few rounds”, said Team Manager Jim Perry.
