Behind the Big Air Benefit Kicks Off X Games 15
Hosted by ESPN’s anchorwoman Dana Jacobson, the X Games Behind the Big Air Benefit will be an evening filled with exclusive VIP meet and greets with X Games 15 athletes and celebrities, music provided by the world famous KROQ and the award-winning cuisine of Levy Restaurants. The exclusive third annual opening night bash benefitting The V Foundation for Cancer Research and the STAPLES Center Foundation will take place Wednesday, July 29, at 6 p.m. atop the STAPLES Center celebrated City View Terrace.

A silent auction filled with sports memorabilia will highlight the evening. Auction items will include two tickets to Cher in concert in Las Vegas, a signed Tony Hawk Birdhouse skateboard, Lebron James signed jersey, VIP package to the 2010 GRAMMY Awards and more. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special “Autograph Alley” and collect signatures from their favorite Skateboard Big Air competitors. Athletes in attendance include Simon Tabron (BMX Freestyle Vert), Andy Macdonald (Skateboard Big Air / Big Air Rail Jam), Sandro Dias (Skateboard Vert), and many more.
Net profits will support the work of two important charities, both the STAPLES Center Foundation and The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Sponsors for the Behind the Big Air Benefit are The Wasserman Foundation and Jakks Pacific.
Tickets for the Behind the Big Air Benefit are available for purchase on Ticketmaster for the first time this year at www.ticketmaster.com/xgames. Services charges have been waived for this charity event.
