  • Yoshimura Opens Up New YRS Division
Chino, Calif. - Yoshimura R&D of America has inaugurated a new division dedicated to high-performance parts generated from racing. The new YRS division (Yoshimura Race Shop) now offers race-bred, mostly non-exhaust parts and services to the general public. These highly customized performance engine, chassis and electrical parts have been developed and fine-tuned in racing and are at the core of what sets Team Yoshimura racing motorcycles apart from the others.

These specialty YRS parts are anodized and machined with a distinctive Yoshimura MagnasonianTM finish. This conspicuous bronze coloring, variegated surface machining, and Yoshimura branding let everyone know that you are serious about performance. Although developed this year on the GSX-R1000 motorcycles raced by Mat Mladin, Tommy Hayden, and Blake Young, these products will be available for most high performance sport bikes, like the CBR1000RR, GSX-R600, Yamaha R-1 and DR-Z400SM.

Featured in this new line are the newly re-designed YRS Case Savers. Specially designed and reinforced to prevent costly crankcase damage in the event of a low-side crash. These will not only help save your expensive engine cases, but make your bike look cool the rest of the time.

The GSX-R1000 Swing Arm Pivot Kits are CNC machined from aircraft grade alloy. They allow for a greater swing arm angle and provide more traction.

Racers looking to change their rear suspension leverage ratio will be pleased with YRS's GSX-R 1000 Rear Linkage Kit. This kit provides a more linear suspension geometry rising rate, allowing for more adjustment to improve traction characteristics.

The YRS Rear Fender Eliminator Kit is a laser cut license plate bracket that reduces weight and increases the all over "race-look"

In addition to parts, complete race engine services are also now available for select Suzuki models, particularly the GSX-R1000 machine. Call the Yoshimura Race Shop for more details and information. Literally, the same engine that Mladin, Hayden and Young race with is now available to the enthusiast through YRS.

If you want to shave seconds off of your lap times, there is simply no other way to go. By using these strengthened, aggressive and factory level "trick" parts, not only will you have the time-tested power of Yoshimura in the heart of your sport bike but you will also tap into a tradition of winning that is unparalleled in modern Superbike racing. The tradition of Yoshimura - "The Leader in Performance."
