Red Bull X-Fighters Texas Ramping Up

  • Red Bull X-Fighters Texas Ramping Up

  • Mat Rebeaud and Rodeo Queens
  • Robbie Maddison
Just one day remains until Red Bull X-Fighters Texas, the world’s premier, most-progressive freestyle motocross series, returns to the world famous Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Last year, Swiss superstar Mat Rebeaud captured the Texas event with an exhilarating final run on his way to the overall series championship, and he looks to fend off 11 of the world’s best riders to repeat his win.

The 12 riders will take on the challenges of a massive, Texas-sized course, sculpted from more than 850 truckloads of dirt over the past three weeks. The numerous ramps and dirt jumps will provide the riders with several ways to impress the judges and thrill the crowd.

In addition to Rebeaud, the competitor list includes previous Red Bull X-Fighters winners Robbie Maddison (Australia), Dany Torres (Spain) and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg (USA). Also competing are Eigo Sato (Japan), Thomas Pagès (France), Andre Villa (Norway), Nate Adams (USA), Adam Jones (USA), Cameron Sinclair (Australia) and Rob Adelberg (Australia). Jeff “Ox” Kargola (USA) has been named to replace Levi Sherwood, who was injured in training last week.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting www.redbullxfighters.com, or locally at Billy Bob’s box office. Tickets will also be sold at the event venue tomorrow. Three price categories are available - General Admission is $20; Grandstand Seating is $40; and Premium Grandstand Seating is $50. Gates will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. local time and the event will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Fans unable to attend can watch the live HD webcast at www.fuel.tv/xfighters, beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT tomorrow night.

Red Bull X-Fighters Texas will be broadcast on ABC on Sunday, July 19 at 1:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 a.m. PT, immediately following the British Open golf tournament.
