Thunder Valley Fan Fest to Benefit RiderDown

Denver, CO - Sun Enterprises will be hosting the Lucas Oil / MX Sports Thunder Valley Pro Motocross Fan Fest, a combination autograph session and street festival. This will be the one and only official Fan Fest held this year, as no other fan events are being held at Thunder Valley, the site of the Colorado Outdoor National.
Once again, Sun Enterprises has volunteered to coordinate a benefit auction and charity event with the proceeds being directed to RiderDown.org and Adopt a Platoon.org. “We are really looking forward to this year’s event with Sun,” says Bruce Vermeulen, President of the RiderDown Foundation. “The last couple of years the turnout has been huge and we look forward to welcoming even more people this year. Helping the Adopt a Platoon organization is an added bonus as well.”
“We are looking forward to working with the RiderDown Foundation again as well as all of our vendors who have so generously donated items for this year's auction,” says Pete Denison, Sun’s Marketing Director. “This is a wonderful opportunity to support RiderDown and its mission of helping riders up. Hope to see you all at this fun filled event!”
“For the last 5 years the Fan Fest has been held at the Thunder Valley Track”, said Sun GM Mark Kite, “but the location was not ideal. Since we have a great location and plenty of room, we volunteered to host the Fan Fest at Sun”. Centered in Sun’s main parking lot will be the interview stage and autograph tent. Pro racers from all major teams, both factory and privateer, are expected to attend. “This will be the best chance for Fans from all over the Rocky Mountains to meet their favorite riders in person, and get a souvenir or autograph”, said Kite. “It’s going to be tons of fun”.
The Thunder Valley Outdoor Motocross Fan Fest will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00 pm, Friday June 26th. A color guard will open the rider introductions at 5:30pm. There is no charge for admission or parking at the Fan Fest and tickets for the Saturday night National Motocross race will be available for purchase. Sun Enterprises is located at 8877 N. Washington in Denver, CO.
