Ponca Race Event at MCMX This Weekend

May 30-31st - Ponca City Grand National Championship Qualifier 2 days of Race Events at Meadow Creek Mx, Crossville TN.

Back 40 Series and Outlaw Race Events this weekend too!

For both days the following time schedule will be followed just to keep it simple:

• Crossville runs and operates in Central Standard Time.
• The track will not be open to practice on Friday, but the main gates will be open at 4:00 pm on Friday afternoon for early arrivals who wish to set up camp, and get the best parking.

Saturday and Sunday are BOTH RACE EVENT DAYS.
Saturday and Sunday gates open at 6:30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday sign up is from 6:30 a.m. till 8:30 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday hot lap practice is from 8 a.m. till 9 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday first gate drop is at 9:15.

Saturday May 30th we will host a Ponca City Qualifier Race and a Outlaw Race.
Sunday May 31st we will host a Ponca City Qualifier Race and a Back 40 Series Race Round 6.

All riders, and motocross family and fans and spectators are welcome. Anyone can come and be a part of this weekend's events.

If you wish to race, but don't want to be a part of the Qualifier there are no additional fees. See the list below. Again, to keep it simple these are the fees for both days.

Gate Fee Adult 10 dollars/day
Gate Fee Child 12 and under 5 dollars/day

Race Fee Saturday's Outlaw Race 25 dollars/class
Race Fee Saturday's Ponca Qualifier 25 dollars/class

Race Fee Sunday's Back 40 Series 25 dollars/class
Race Fee Sunday's Ponca Qualifier 25 dollars/class

If you wish to be considered for the Ponca Qualifier, you will need to purchase a NMA license, that can be done at the track, cost is $45.00 for the license. No license is needed if you do not wish to be considered for the Qualifier. Just tell the sign up girls your choice.

Qualifiers for racers to compete at the Grand National Championship in Ponca City, Oklahoma are currently underway in the 35 regions across the country. Racers must compete in a minimum of two qualifier races in their region and finish in the top 12 of the total races in their region in order to participate at the Grand Nationals. This weekend's event counts as 2 qualifiers at Meadow Creek Mx, Crossville TN. For more info on the Grand National go to www.nmamx.com

There will be Saturday afternoon family fun activities planned for the young and old, so bring your bicycles and yard games, footballs and volleyballs. See you at the track! Did someone say slip and slide? Be sure to bring some extra clothes!

Track offers large open grassy parking areas, restrooms, showers, no charge for the bike wash, there are no rv hook ups, there is no barrel water source at track. Located only 15 minutes off I-40, and 10 minutes from Crossville, and all the offerings of a good sized town. Crossville offers lots of motels if you need one, but call ahead for reservations for the city hosts 3 raceways, several softball championships, and lots of other activities.
