Supermoto Faceoff at X Games 15

Palo Alto -  XTRM Sports Network is excited to announce that the XTRM AMA Pro Supermoto Series racers have been invited to take part in the prime time ESPN X Games Supermoto race on ABC Live, Saturday August 1st at The Home Depot Center in Carson City. The top 10 in the AMA Pro Championships in points after the third round to be held in the South Pointe Casino in Las Vegas, will be seeded in as invitees to this prestigious annual event, joining 10 other invited stars from Flat Track, Road Racing, Motocross and Freestyle to round out a twenty man field in a head to head, bar banging international Supermoto ‘Throw Down’!

The series will seed the top six in points from the Premier Class and the top two in points from both the 250cc Lites Class and the Open Class big bore bikes. The new proposed track layout will consists of the usual asphalt track used by the Rally Cars and for the first time, a much modified dirt section in the Stadium that is more like a Dirt track TT layout than a Supercross track. For the first time this guarantees more diverse international competition from more racing disciplines, with closer, fiercer and faster spectacular racing for ABC’s cameras and the huge national audience it draws!
