Yamaha Celebrates Stewart's Championship

Cypress California – In a show of profound respect and admiration towards James Stewarts’ achievements both on and off the track during the 2009 AMA Supercross season, Yamaha Motorsports President Henio Arcangeli, Jr. and all the employees at Yamaha Motor Corporation’s Cypress headquarters presented James with his championship winning 2009 YZ450F.
Winning a championship is never easy, and with all the obstacles James had to overcome to win this year, he has called it the hardest ever and the most gratifying. The people at Yamaha understand the nature of the adversity James faced, and are using his determination as inspiration for success in the year ahead.

When asked what he was going to do with his Championship winning YZ450F when he got it back to Florida, James had a big smile on his face and said, “This one is going to stand in a special place amongst my collection; it represents the sweetest of all my championships.”
