Muscle Milk/MDK/KTM Vegas Report

Las Vegas, NV – Muscle Milk/MDK/KTM teammates Justin Brayton (West Lites) and Wil Hahn (East Lites) both put in solid performances to earn top ten finishes at the AMA West vs. East Lites Supercross Shootout at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Brayton put his KTM into the main event first when he charged from a 9th place start in Heat #1 to 4th overall after the six lap sprint. Hahn was up next in Heat #2. Hahn came around the first turn in 14th position and passed up to 10th by the end of the first lap. He continued to push forward in order to get his bike in qualifying position and he succeeded while earning 7th in his heat.

In the main event both Muscle Milk/MDK/KTM riders had decent jumps off the gate. Brayton rounded the first turn in 6th while Hahn was a few spots back in 9th. Unfortunately Hahn made a couple mistakes on the first lap causing him to fall back to 11th. Hahn was a little slow to move forward at first but then found his speed near the second half of the race and picked off two riders to break into the top ten earning 9th overall. Brayton battled for the 7th place position for half of the race before finding himself separated from the pack by the second half of the race. He stayed consistent to finish a decent 7th place overall.

The Jagermeister/MDK/KTM team rider, Jesse Casillas, qualified for the main event in the Supercross class. This marked Casillas first main event since he joined the team in Seattle. Casillas had a solid heat race easily transferring to the main event with a 7th place finish. He ended his night with 15th place finish in the main event.
