The first race ever held in Las Vegas was March 17, 1990, and Jeff Matiasevich won on a Kawasaki
This will be the 19th time the gate will drop for an AMA Supercross race in Sam Boyd Stadium

Jeremy McGrath won his first-ever AMA Supercross in Las Vegas on a Kawasaki in the Lites class
McGrath has won in Las Vegas seven times in his career, three in the Lites class and four in the AMA Supercross class
From 1993-2002, there were 156 AMA Supercross races, and Jeremy McGrath missed only one of those races, which was in Las Vegas in 1995
From 1996-2002, McGrath made 110 consecutive starts
In 1997, Doug Henry made history when he won the Las Vegas Supercross class race on a Yamaha four-stroke motorcycle, marking the first time a four-stroke motorcycle won an AMA Supercross class race
