ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Women’s Motocross & Supercross Foundation (WMXF) announced today that the Annual MotoBowl will once again allow SX and MX fans to bowl with their favorite riders while raising money for a good cause on the Thursday prior to the first round of the 2009 AMA Motocross Championship at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif.
Previous participating industry celebrities have included Mitch Payton, Kevin Windham, Andrew Short, Grant Langston, Racer X Illustrated Editor-in-Chief Davey Coombs, SX announcer Erin Bates, and many more!
Teams of six bowlers each will be determined by EBay bidding. The seven-day auctions will open on Monday April 27th. Scheduled for May 21st, MotoBowl will be held at Trevi Entertainment Center in Lake Elsinore, Calif. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and general admission spectator tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Ticket price includes admission to the event, dinner, arcade games and a front seat to this limited-access party. There will be rider interviews, dinner and one of a kind silent auction items.
