It was reported yesterday on our site that someone witnessed Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Jake Weimer crash really hard and injure his wrist yesterday at the Kawasaki test track. Well, Jake called to let us know that he is definitely sore, but he's fine. It happened on a fast section of the track where the guys triple onto the top of a tabletop, then step off and over another jump. When he landed on top of the tabletop, he accidentally bounced the bike into neutral, causing a pretty big getoff. However, he's been checked out and he'll be riding in the next couple of days before coming out to race the West finale at Salt Lake this Saturday night.
