Foremost Insurance Rider Mike McDade Wins Mini O's Championship

Five Top-Three Overalls Between Foremost Riders Mike McDade and Tarah Gieger

Grand Rapids, Michigan - The results are in from the 37th Annual Winter National Olympics it was Foremost Insurance sponsored rider Mike McDade taking the Motocross Open A/Pro-Am Stock Championship. Foremost Insurance riders Mike McDade and Tarah Gieger secured five top-three overall finishes between them in six classes. The perfect record was broken in the Supercross Open A/Pro-AM Stock Championship where McDade was run over in the start and finished in 23rd place.

McDade's championship win was not without drama. It turns out that he finished his second moto with a rear wheel that had ten broken spokes. Luckily, he realized something was wrong and was able to finish the last half lap without exploding the wheel by rolling the jumps.

In addition to winning the Motocross Open A/Pro Am Stock Championship, McDade placed second in the Supercross 250A/Pro-Am Modified class, andthird in the Motocross 250 A/Pro-Am Modified class and 23rd in theSupercross Open A/Pro-Am class.

Tarah Gieger finished second overall in the Supercross Women's class and third overall in the Motocross Women's class.

"I came into the Mini O's wanting to win at least one championship and I accomplished that. It has taken me a while to balance out my speed with a more mature approach on the track. It used to be that I would either win or crash trying to win, but now my focus is on consistency and staying in the game. I appreciate the support from the guys at Pants Saggin and I am very excited about racing with the Foremost Insurance Jim Neese Racing Arenacross Team starting in January," commented Mike McDade.

In addition to these sponsorships, Foremost is the co-title sponsor of the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati road race team in the AMA Superbike Series, and the title sponsor of the Foremost Insurance Jim Neese Racing Team in the AMA Arenacross Series. Foremost is also the official insurance for the Suzuki Big Kahuna Superbike race at VIRginia International Raceway.
