Going to Vegas? Check Out Pole Position Raceway

If you are headed to the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open this weekend in Las Vegas then you should check out the all-new Pole Position Raceway for a little indoor kart action. It's usually a racer hangout when any motorcycle race is in town, and it's located directly across the street from the Palms hotel/casino at the corner of Flamingo and Arville (just one mile off center strip). This past week James Stewart was at Pole Position Raceway in Corona, California, as were famed jumpers Ronnie Renner and Robbie Maddison. And since Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Grant Langston, Greg Albertyn, Mike Metzger, Kenny Bartram, and some of the world's fastest racers are investors in the chain of kart tracks, there's lots of cool motorsports memorabilia on display. Pole Position Raceway also has tracks in Murrieta, California and Oklahoma City, and plans to open its first franchise in Dallas at the beginning of 2009.
