Mike Metzger & Robbie Maddison Added to the List of Riders To Compete

Starting today, a limited amount of “Moto X Mayhem” ticket packages are available for fans to attend the debut of the Moto X World Championships in San Diego, Calif. April 12-13 at Qualcomm Stadium. The ticket package includes a two-day admission to the event, pit access, a “Best of X” DVD and a Moto X World Championship fitted flat-billed hat for a total of $75. The Moto X World Championships have also released and opened new sections of field-level seating available for the public to purchase with all other ticket packages through www.ticketmaster.com beginning this morning at 10 a.m. PT.

Mike “The Godfather” Metzger – known for being the first motocross rider to land back-to-back backflips, and Robbie “Maddo” Maddison, famous for his record-setting live New Year’s Eve jump – are both confirmed to compete at the inaugural event in April.

The new annual event will feature the best Moto X riders in the world competing for the title of Moto X World Champion in a variety of disciplines including Freestyle, SuperMoto, Speed & Style, Best Trick, Step Up and Moto X Racing. Eight hours of live coverage of the Moto X World Championships will be featured on ESPN and ESPN2 --- all available in high definition. Extensive coverage will also be provided via ESPN360.com and EXPN.com.

All athletes receiving invitations to compete at Moto X World Championships are chosen by a discipline-specific selection committee. Criteria and timing of invitations varies by discipline as it is based on the state and event schedules of that particular sport.

Tickets are $10, $20 and $25 with free pit access included in the $20 and $25 tickets. A military discount will be offered - $5 discount from a $25 ticket and $3 discount from a $20 ticket.
