Billy Laninovich to Race 450 in Indy

Indianapolis, IN – MDK KTM announced today that Supercross West Lites rider, Billy Laninovich, will race the Indianapolis Supercross aboard the KTM 450SX-F at the RCA Dome this weekend.

Laninovich is one of the Supercross West Lites riders that have chosen to take advantage of the rule set forth by the AMA that states West Lites riders are eligible to compete at the eastern rounds of the Supercross Series.

“I am excited to make my KTM 450 debut at Indy. I love the KTM 450. It has so much power and is incredibly fast. I feel just as comfortable on the KTM 450SX-F as on my 250SX-F,” commented Laninovich.

It is not yet determined how many Supercross rounds the MDK KTM rider will compete in. “I am hoping to race at least three Supercross rounds,” stated Laninovich. MDK KTM Lites Team Manager, Danny Paladino, reported that he was excited to have Laninovich back under the tent at Indy. “The team and sponsors are thrilled to have Billy compete in the premier class. Billy really enjoys riding the 450 and we are eager to see his results this weekend.”
