AMA Supercross Class San Diego Stats
-First race October 25, 1980. Mike Bell won on a Yamaha.
-This will be the 25th time the gate will drop for an AMA Supercross race in San Diego.
-First time winner at Qualcomm: David Vuillemin on a Yamaha in 2000.

-Since 2003, Chad Reed has won four races in San Diego and a third place finish.
-Jeremy McGrath has five wins in San Diego

-Honda won 10 of 11 races in San Diego from 1985 to 1996
-San Diego hosted the first round of AMA Supercross in 1985.
-Honda has had five event sweeps in San Diego; Yamaha has had two; can Yamaha make it three?

Anaheim 3 Notables – Anaheim 3
-Reed earned the 30th AMA Supercross win of his career.
-McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, and Reed are the only riders in AMA Supercross history to win 30-plus Supercross races.
-Reed has now won three AMA Supercross class races in a row. He has not done this since 2004.
-Tim Ferry got his 2nd podium of the year
-Davi Millsaps got his 2nd career runner up
-Yamaha has now had back-to-back sweeps for the first time since 2003.

-First race January 26, 1985, Todd Campbell won on a Kawasaki
-This was the first ever AMA Supercross Lites race. This will be round #355 for the AMA Supercross Lites.
-This will be the 22nd time the gate will drop for an AMA Supercross Lites race in San Diego.
