FMF Racing’s Jason Lawrence Wins San Francisco SX
January 30, 2008 - FMF Racing’s Jason Lawrence broke through for the first win of his career Saturday at round four of the 2008 AMA Supercross Lites Series at AT&T Ballpark in San Francisco. At the start of the Lites Main Event, the skies opened up and the already wet track turned into a muddy mess. Lawrence, using FMF’s 4.1 Carbon system with a megabomb header, rocketed out to a great start and quickly moved pass Brett Metcalfe for the lead. Lawrence then rode a smart race leading every lap of the main event to take his first win as a professional. With three rounds remaining in the west coast lites series, Lawrence now sits just twenty-three points out of first place.
