Watch Monster Energy Supercross® Every Sunday in February on CBS Sports

AURORA
, Ill. (January 24, 2008) – This weekend’s Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race from San Francisco’s AT&T Park will be broadcast in high definition on CBS Sports, Sunday, January 27 at Noon EST. The one-hour broadcast marks the first time in the sport’s history that fans can watch Monster Energy® Supercross in High-Definition technology on CBS Sports.

CBS Sports opened the 2008 Monster Energy® Supercross season with a one-hour preview show and will air a total of seven High-Definition broadcasts of AMA Supercross class races this year before closing out the championship with a season-recap show Sunday, May 4. The Western Regional AMA Supercross class will air on SPEED Saturday, February 2 at 6:00 p.m.

“The racing has been spectacular through three races this season and we’re looking forward to showing the national CBS Sports audience Monster Energy® Supercross in High-Definition technology for the first-time ever on network television,” said Ken Hudgens, vice president of marketing for Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc. “AT&T Park and the waterfront surroundings provide an outstanding backdrop for our sport on CBS Sports. This year’s television package is the best in the sport’s history and showcasing it in high definition only makes it better. Fans will not want to miss Sunday’s broadcast.”

The television team of pit reporter Erin Bates, color analyst Jeff Emig and host Ralph Sheheen will deliver the first-ever broadcast in High-Definition technology on CBS Sports to the loyal Monster Energy® Supercross fans.
