Joe Oehlhof and the Cross X Yamaha Racing Team have split ways. Oehlhof will not be running Supercross or Motocross with the team. Instead, Joe will be riding selected West Coast Supercross on a newly-purchased KX450F.
The timing of this split is not the best, but things happen for a reason. “After speaking with the team at the end of 2007, I thought we would be a good match but after hearing the difference in goals, I opted out of the deal”, says Joe. “I look forward to racing the Supercross class for the next few rounds. I am pushing to find a spot that will land me the seat time with a team that needs the experience and dedication I bring to the table.”
Look for Joe Oehlhof aboard his KX450F #88…that is until another door opens with better opportunities.
