Toyota’s Certified Used Vehicle Program Steps Up to Get Involved with the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series – Puts Up A Grand To Racers Pulling Holeshots In SPEED TV Market Races!

AURORA, Ill. (Nov. 1, 2007) – Live Nation’s Motor Sports division announced today that Toyota Certified Used Vehicles will be the official holeshot sponsor of the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. The 2007-2008 series begins in Des Moines, Iowa, Nov. 2 at Wells Fargo Arena and running at all 19 rounds of the series – through Green Bay on March 16, 2008.

The Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Holeshot Award will be given each night to the racers in both AMA Arenacross and Arenacross Lites class who nail the start and are the first ones to make it around the opening turn and to the designated Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Holeshot chalk line.

“I know the riders on the tour will appreciate Toyota’s financial contribution to each weekend of racing,” said Jayme Dalsing, director of arenacross for Live Nation.

The two guys with the most nerve, the ones that can hold the power on full-blast until the last possible second before diving into the first turn and at the Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Holeshot chalk line are going to be $750 richer (AMA Arenacross class) and $250 richer (AMA Arenacross Lites class) in the markets where SPEED TV is broadcasting the event.

”Toyota Certified Used Vehicles is proud to sponsor the Holeshot Award and recognize the quick start of riders during the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series,” said Steve Gallagher, TCUV Marketing Operations Manager. “We look forward to many great starts over the course of the 2007 – 2008 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series season and helping support the riders as they pursue their passion.”

In addition to the Holeshot Award, Toyota will also step-it-up with the Toyota Certified Fan Challenge. During the final race, a lucky fan will be paired with each rider and Toyota Certified Used Vehicles will award the winner of the final race with a $250 gas card. The matched fan will receive a Toyota AMA Arenacross Series prize pack.
