  • Bad Boy Power Drink Teams Up With AX Champions

Bad Boy Power Drink is sponsoring defending champion Danny Smith, and his TUF Racing teammate, the 2006 champion, Chad Johnson, in the 2008 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. Smith will ride the #1 TUF Racing / Bad Boy Power Drink Honda, while Johnson will compete on the #10 TUF Racing / Bad Boy Power Drink Honda. Smith, who has been a contender for Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series Lites class titles in the past, won his first motocross championship in his first full season on the 2007 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. In 2006, Chad Johnson edged out Brock Sellards to win the 2006 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series by one point. It was the closet title finish in the sport’s history.

Rick Ware from Team Bad Boy said, “To work with two incredible champions like Danny Smith and Chad Johnson is a dream come true. Danny and Chad leave it all on the track. They don't hold anything back. They ride hard and fast. Not only are they the ultimate competitors, they're both down to earth, good natured guys. Throw seasoned pros like the crew from TUF Racing in to the mix, well, it doesn't get any better than that."

Bad Boy Power Drink is also sponsoring # 74 Ivo Stenbergs, the #1 rider from Latvia, in the 2008 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. Bad Boy Power Drink teamed up with the Latvian Motorcyclists Federation and finished 15th overall in the 61st Motocross of Nations on September 22 and 23, 2007, at Budds Creek Motocross Park. Stenbergs was one of the three riders representing Latvia and Team Bad Boy in the event.

In its 24th year, the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series, owned by Live Nation, is the premier indoor motocross series in the U.S. playing to sold-out arenas nationwide. The season kicks off Nov. 2-4 at Des Moines, Iowa’s Wells Fargo Arena and wraps up March 14-16 at Green Bay, Wisconsin’s Resch Center.
