  • Costa Rica Ready For MXoN

Lake Worth, Florida. (September 18th 2007) - The bikes are ready the hauler is loaded and Team Costa Rica is ready for the 2007 Motocross of Nations. WMR Competition Performance and Motorsport Fox Kawasaki are wrapping up the last minute details for the trip to Budds Creek after four months of preparation. Working with the best after market companies in the industry they have turned stock Kawasaki’s into works race bikes in order to provide the best equipment possible for Team Costa Rica. They have reached that goal and are ready to line up on the gate at the 2007 Motocross of Nations. MX1 rider David Chacon, MX2 rider Roberto Castro and Open class rider Johan Mora have been training hard in preparation for the race and feel mentally and physically strong. Only history will tell the story, but the journey has already been well worth the hard work.

“Building the team for Costa Rica has been a great experience for everyone here at WMR, getting to know the riders has probably been the best part. We have made life long friends with these great guys and will be working with them in the future as they continue their racing careers in the States. Our slogan for this event has been “Bringing Nations Together” and I feel that is exactly what we have done. It is very difficult for any country to come to the US and put together a competitive team for a race like the Motocross of Nations. The logistics alone are more than most can overcome. WMR is proud to have been a part of making that possible for Costa Rica. The world is full of talented riders all dreaming of racing for their country at the des Nations, without the support from Companies like ourselves, here in the states; they would never be able to do so. Today  with the internet and mega media sources, our industry has become a world wide affair, WMR looks forward to continuing to help young riders from the US as well as all over the world reach their  racing goals.
 – Bob Brewster (Pres. WMR Competition Performance)
