Jeff Northrop Injured; Babbit's Kawasaki Signs Gray Davenport

Fort Worth, TX – December 21, 2006 – Babbitt’s Kawasaki announced today that Gray Davenport will temporarily replace Jeff Northrop on the BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series.

Northrop was testing and practicing over the five-week break on the BooKoo Series when he went down breaking several ribs and puncturing a lung. At first it was thought Northrop may have also separated a shoulder, however x-rays came back negative. Thought to be out for a few races, Davenport will replace the injured Northrop beginning at the next round at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth on December 29-31.
