  • MDK Motorsports to Title Sponsor Wonder Warthog Racing in 2007

December 7, 2006, Newbury Park, CA.  MDK Motorsports and MDK Speed Equipment have joined up with Synergy Racing Technologies (SRT) to support the Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) privateer programs for 2007.

MDK Motorsports will be the TITLE sponsor of what will be called the MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha team. The team will encompass an effort by SRT that is slated to support 24 privateers throughout the season including: Jacob Saylor, 5 Dana K./WWR Interns, and the 17 privateers riding out of the DeCal Works/P-Lok Hog Haven.

Said Mark Kvamme, owner of MDK Motorsports, “What attracted our company to this program are the great quality of riders and the commitment to supporting and helping our sport flourish. Along with the great WWR riders, MDK Speed Equipment provides consistently great performing engines. Each and every engine is built to perform at a true professional level to enable every rider an equal opportunity to maximize their potential.”

The motors for the team will be built by MDK Speed Equipment, the high performance race shop supporting such notables as Nick Wey and David Vuillemin.

SRT and WWR look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the MDK family of companies.
