BELL Golden Helmet Award For Texas Winter Series
November 28, 2006 (Wortham, Texas) - Today marked a milestone for the Honda of Houston/FMF Texas Winter Series as it surpasses the $400,000 mark with the addition to adding the BELL GOLDEN HELMET award to its contingency. This award will go to the top scoring rider with the most accumulative points at the end of the four round series. The winner will also be presented a one-of-a-kind Bell Trophy at the conclusion of the series at Lake Whitney.
Sean Estes of Bell Sports commented "Amateur racing is the core of Motocross and more importantly it's future. Bell Helmets is honored to do it's part in assuring the continued growth of our sport by participating in the Freestone County Raceway's promoted Texas Winter Series contingency program."
Bell Helmets will provide the racer that accumulates the most overall points in the series with a 1-year support contract good for Bell Moto-8 helmets as well as support items such as replacement helmet pad kits and various Bell soft goods at no cost to the winner. This would include full trackside support at selective events Bell Helmets attends. Rider must meet Bell Sports contractual agreement.
