Parts Unlimited/Thor Host Rd 1 Texas Winter Series Dinner

November 22, 2006 (Wortham, TX) - The 7th Annual Honda of Houston/FMF AMA Texas Winter Series kicks off in style December 2-3, 2006 with Round 1 at Freestone County Raceway. To help celebrate the series, Parts Unlimited/Thor is proud to host the Family Appreciation Dinner on Saturday, December 2nd. The dinner will go from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and is open to everyone.  The first 700 people will be served so come early and come hungry.
 
Hylton Beattie of Parts Unlimited said "This is a great way for us to give back to such a great series. We support the sport and there is no better way we could do this than to show the riders and their families of this community our appreciation."

After the holidays, Rounds 2-4 will then visit Village Creek MX Park, January 13-14, 2007; Oakhill MX Park, January 27-28, 2007; and Lake Whitney MX Park, February 17-18, 2007 (Whitney's season opener). The series boast over $350,000 in factory (Cobra, Honda, Kawasaki, Polini, Suzuki & Yamaha) and product contingency for the four rounds.  Last year riders from 31 states and two countries were represented in the series.

This will be a traditional Texas dinner and will help welcome everyone to the series.
