France May Not Have Mickael Pichon After All

AMA Team USA is not the only squad dealing with an injury issue. In
this afternoon's season-ending French Grand Prix in Ernee, former world
champion Mickael Pichon suffered a crash at the start of the first moto
and did not restart due to a concussion. According to TFS, who is at
the race, the injury appears to be bad enough to keep him from racing
the Motocros des Nations next weekend. "There has been no announcement,
but France is looking for a new guy already," wrote TFS. Pichon, who
rode for the French last year but is now in semi-retirement, was a late
replacement for Sebastien Pourcel, the oldest of the fast French
brothers.
