The following is a press release from Red Bull.
The road to the Championship demands everything. For riders in pursuit of fulfilling their dream, success demands confidence, managing race intensity, and performing under the spotlight, while consistently overcoming the challenges of a nonstop 17-week season.
In ‘Race One,’ follow Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence and Chase Sexton’s journey in pre-season training as they push through intense pre-season training leading up to the 2025 Supercross season kick off at A1.
For the riders, success means handling pressure at the start line, managing race intensity and performing under the spotlight, while also staying focused, making critical decisions and overcoming the challenges of a nonstop 17-week SX season.
Chase tells-all about his decision to leave Honda and join KTM, right after the Lawrence brothers joined Honda.
“Some people don’t like the pressure; some people try to hide from it, but for me it is where I want to be. Really, I was looking for a group of people that I could surround myself with that had the same mentality I had, doing everything it takes to win,” says Chase.
“My parents left their friends and family for us to have the chance to be successful or someone in this world,” says Jett, full of gratitude.
“Being forced to sink or swim, racing in so many different countries all around the world you see so much. You see the good side and bad side of every country and you see what people are going through,” says Hunter.
Jett’s back-to-back Supercross 250 title in 2022 and the 450 title in 2023 wins, along with his injury in 2024 drives his determination for the 2025 season.
The Lawrence brothers elevate each other’s game. Hunter opens up about the sibling rivalry when it comes to race-day.
