Round two of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship goes down this weekend in San Diego, California. Check out the list below for a look at who’ll be missing the action.

450SX

Christian Craig – Knee | Out

Craig is eyeing a return to racing at Tampa. He’s currently on the sidelines after tearing his ACL and meniscus at the final round of the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

250SX West

Derek Drake – Illness | Out

Drake is set to miss at least the first half of the season due to a bout with Lyme disease.

Evan Ferry – Achilles | Out

Ferry is out for the season after tearing his Achilles tendon when landing from a jump in his heat race at Anaheim 1.

Derek Kelley – Banged Up | TBD Out

Kelley had a huge crash during practice at Anaheim, prompting a red flag. He’s okay, but he’s very sore. He hopes to be ready to go for San Diego.

Kelley is officially out for the weekend. He said he tried to ride on Thursday but was too banged up. He is going to sit out San Diego to try and race Anaheim 2.

Robbie Wageman – Wrist | Out

Wageman sustained a fractured and dislocated wrist while practicing. He may return at some point during the second half of the season, but for now Derek Kelley is filling in for him.

Ferry will miss the remainder of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.

250SX East

The 250SX East Region kicks off on February 8 in Tampa, Florida.

Casey Cochran – Leg

Cochran sustained a leg injury in November that required surgery and is currently working on coming back from that.

RJ Hampshire – Wrist

Hampshire was slated to race 250SX West Region this year but couldn’t make it due to a nagging wrist injury sustained just before the opening round of the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. He should be active once 250SX East Region starts up.

Levi Kitchen – Illness

Kitchen was supposed to race 250SX West Region but came down with a severe illness just before the opener last weekend. He should be good to go for 250SX East Region.

Keegan Rowley – Wrist

The TiLube Honda ride suffered an injury (wrist) and is likely to miss all of supercross. He said on Instagram:

"Unfortunately a tiny error resulted in a damaged wrist that will likely keep me out of SX in 25. Even though I won’t get to show it in a stadium this year I am confident that I have the foundation to do some great things. I’ll continue to work here @clubmx and see you all soon! Thank you again to everyone that supports me."

Devin Simonson – Wrist

Simonson sustained a wrist injury just before Christmas that required surgery. He’ll likely miss the first part of the 250SX East Region. Australian Reid Taylor gets the fill in for ClubMX.

Jalek Swoll – Achilles

Swoll is out for supercross with an Achilles injury sustained before A1.
